After seeing some of my own past lives last year during a silent meditation retreat, I practiced Past Life Readings on clients/friends before adding them to my repertoire of services.
During a Past Life Reading I connect with your angels and guides on the other side to assist me as we explore the past lives that are most directly influencing your current life tendencies, successes and challenges. In some instances, course correction in this lifetime is necessary in order to carry out your destiny.
Unlike a mediumship reading, spirit can stay with me for days (even weeks) after a past life session, providing clarity and insight into the information received during the initial sitting. I’ve also discovered that these readings can go on for between one and three hours. Since discovering these traits of past life readings, I decided to prepare an Insight Report for clients based on the additional information I receive. To accommodate longer readings, I have adjusted the pricing structure.
As I prepared to read past lives for my client on this particular day, I first connected with a few of her grandparents on the other side. One of her grandmothers was a guide that had been with her since her birth. I also connected with two archangels, Haniel and Jophiel. At the most basic level Haniel is associated with moon energy and healers/healing abilities, while Jophiel is the patron saint of artists. My sitter on this day was (and still is) an artist. Her work includes pieces of both a spiritual and celestial nature.
Before commencing the reading I distinctly heard the word muse after connecting with her guides. I heard, 'she is the muse of these archangels', which I repeated aloud, unaware of the significance this word would take on over the next several days and weeks. Our reading began.
I mentally asked the guides and angels to begin showing me the lives that were most affecting her present incarnation. I was immediately shown a cat, followed by a high priestess, and my client morphing into a feline (believe me, I know how strange it sounds).
“You’ve had a significant lifetime in Egypt”, which we had already surmised based on a previous experience we’d had a year before together in Reiki. After that experience in her Level I Reiki attunement, I’d always believed she was meant to be a healer - but she was never interested.
The colour purple became prevalent and then the tarot deck card High Priestess. I paused to start putting the pieces together, but was interrupted when I heard another word from spirit: veterinarian.
My client validated that she had often considered becoming a vet in this lifetime. Before we could delve further into this however, her grandmother guide began showing me lion heads – concrete statues and pink – pink flowers… Europe. Scotland. (Yes, her grandmother was from Scotland.) There was more about her grandma and very personal current life situations came to the fore, validating her grandmother was in fact a guide and aware of her present life situations.
Another lifetime was shown via this guide, of one in Morocco. Letters began to come through but as I jotted them down I felt that some were still missing. I had the strong feeling that these letters formed a family name and even a family crest. This lifetime was significant because my client was an artist during this incarnation. It was also significant for other reasons, which for privacy reasons I cannot include here.
As we moved through other images (those of a horse and of a cow - both of which were special pets to my client), I saw what appeared to be a snake/serpent as well as her grandmother holding a golden rod. Again, the colours pink was purple were prevalent. This was her grandma beginning to bring all of the seemingly disconnected details full circle.
But it was the next lifetime – the one immediately preceding her current life - that blew me away. I began to see a covered wagon and heard ‘Little House on the Prairie’ which I repeated aloud. My client gasped and laughed, “I used to say that I always thought I was from those times, from Little House on the Prairie.”
Next, I saw a horse lying on the ground. My client was a veterinarian in this lifetime and she was kneeling beside the horse with her covered wagon – her transport then – in the background. A new image appeared, that of a raging fire, and I confirmed that my client had died in a fire in that lifetime.
As I opened my eyes my client gasped and told me to look. She held out her arm for me and there was what appeared to be a burn mark. I asked if she had burnt herself recently, and she replied that she hadn’t. It was her birthmark. (I think my jaw dropped open. This was a jaw-dropping detail after all).
She then told me about the horse she’d had as a child, a gift from her beloved dad. She had come home one day to find the horse lying in the pasture. The story she was told as a young girl was that the horse had eaten something bad and it had died. She later learned the vet had accidentally killed the horse. The images of her assisting the horse in her past life mirrored the sentiments from spirit about her beloved pet horse in this lifetime. Perhaps this is the reason she had a connection to becoming a vet but also why she never did.
The following day my client drew a card from her own oracle deck, Work Your Light and sent it to me:
High priestess, cat, lion’s heads, golden rod, serpent, pink and purple, moon energy: all validating her significant lifetimes in Egypt (I believe she had more than one). This one card validated her being an inspiration as well as inspired by her angels, and that her grandmother is definitely one of her main guides.
The word muse appeared about once a day for the next several days. Every time it appeared I photographed it to insert into my client’s Insight Report (I also felt comfortable enough with this client to text some of these occurrences as we know each other quite well.) By the time I had prepared her report, I had researched some of the details (the family name and crest, etc.) that we had received from her guides in spirit. The information tied itself together beautifully, each bit resonating with her current life tendencies, obstacles, choices and the like.
I typically ask the sitters/clients whose session I am writing about to read these blogs before I post them. This ensures accuracy and confidentiality. My client wanted me to note that following this reading she in fact realized that healing was part of her life purpose and took my Reiki Level II course.
I particularly enjoyed this past life reading. Spirit never disappoints.
